Tuesday July 27, 2010, 18:08Would you pay for Twitter?A study by the Center for the Digital Future (digitalcenter.org) shows we are not going to pay for use of micro-blogging. They survey 1981 internet users, the study found that about half of them use micro-blogging such as Twitter. The survey also finds that nobody would be willing to pay for it.
Friday July 23, 2010, 22:33Most content on BitTorrent is illegalA new study out of the University of Ballarat in Australia has confirmed that the majority of content on BitTorrent is illegal. Researchers checked torrents from 23 trackers, the total sample consisted of 1,000 torrent files. They found that 89 percent of the files were confirmed to be illegally shared and most of the remaining 11 percent was most likely illegal. There were only three cases (it is 0.3 percent of the files) classified as legal files.

Tuesday July 20, 2010, 14:29.CO Domain Names AvailableRegistry operator of dotcom (.co) domains, .CO Internet S.A.S. announced that its domain names are available now through registers such as GoDaddy.com, Register.com, Network Solutions, and others.
Similar to dotcom (.com) domains, .co are available to everyone. Dotco domains are already widely recognized, more than 20 countries already use them for their country-specific domains (for example .co.uk and .co.jp).
