Sunday September 12, 2010, 6:42According to the WSJ, GoDaddy.com has put itself up for sale. Experts said the website is worth even $1 billion. The company declared in 2009 its revenue between $750 million and $800 million.

The company Go Daddy Group Inc. runs the world's largest web domain name registrar, and currently it has more than 43 million web domains under management. GoDaddy.com is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, and owned by Bob Parsons, who founded the company in 1997.

Investors interested to buy Go Daddy are attracted because of the secure cash flow from monthly fee-based subscriptions. In addition Go Daddy sells also e-commerce, security and many other web services to people and businesses.
