Friday April 02, 2010, 20:10Henry Edward Roberts, a designer of the Altair 8800, a machine which was an inspiration for Bill Gates and Paul Allen, has died aged 68. Gates and Allen (Microsoft co-founders) said in their statement "We are deeply saddened by the passing of our friend and early mentor, Ed Roberts."
