Sunday August 29, 2010, 23:01The Financial Times (ft.com) reports that Google is negotiating with major Hollywood studios to bring streaming movie rentals to YouTube. It can happen as soon as by the end of the year. According to the source the new YouTube service will offer movies, simultaneous with the DVD release, for about $5.
